What surprised us the most whas that the house sits in the middle of a lemon grove with olive trees which we loved! It was such a wonderful surprise. The location was a quick walk from the center of Sorrento which made it really easy to get around. The staff was sweet. There was a slight misunderstanding in our reservation but the family quickly make up for it and made our stay even more wonderful than anticipated. They were truly professional and kind. I only wish I had known ahead of time that the owner is also the chef in a local restaurant. That should be known to all guest when they arrive! Lisa - USA

Excellent location within walking distance to the center of Sorrento. Once off the road we could have been in the country. The owner and staff were lovely people - very friendly and helpful. Room was large and well appointed Neil O'brien

Grazie per lo splendido ponte di Sant'Ambrogio! Siamo arrivate con un diluvio apocalittico che ci ha fatte preoccupare ma il giorno dopo uno splendido sole ci ha sorprese e rallegrate! Vi ringraziamo la cortesia,ci siete venuti a prendere all'aereoporto,per la simpatia un abbraccio forte forte alla signora che ci prepara la colazione sempre gentilissima e sorridente,un grazie infinito a Carmine le cui prodezze culinarie sono sulla bocca di tutti i nostri amici,un abbraccio anche a sua moglie!!!!! Recommended. Very large rooms with equally large bathrooms. Furnishings basic but value for money. Clean, very friendly. I managed to break the curtains within five minutes of arriving but owners didnt mind and repaired immediately. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Good coffee. Free parking. Renovated building set in orange grove with ruined roman/medieval fort behind. Really enjoyed the stay. Worth ensuring that owners know in advance what time you are coming so they can be around. Very well connected by local train service. Sorrento itself is a super place to hang out. Lots to do including easy access to Pompei, Capri etc etc. Lawrence S.
